Hungry Fox
The project that made me switch majors
This is the project that made me fall in love with game design as a whole. I was taking a game programming class and we were tasked with making a very rudimentary little “level” and game/quest. I have the hungry little fox trying to steal all of the food before the villagers wake up and catch him.
Our end goal was to make it so the class could all play our games and I LOVED it. I spent way too much time drawing out the layout I wanted, thinking of a storyline for my little fox, and finding the perfect assets to decorate the map.
It sounds so silly looking back, but I remember spending so much time tweaking the physics and the box colliders of the environment because I wanted my fox to be able to shove things around for fun.
I used free art assets for the environment and the character, but the game was made in Unity using C#.
