Magic Punk

Still in its early development days, Magic Punk is an idea we had among friends. We wanted to create a mix of turn-based combat with a dungeon crawler.
What did I do?
I’ve been tasked with the general-level design of our dungeons. I am in charge of making the dungeon layout in Unity using the assets of our talented artist. It’s been amazing seeing my ideas and project come to life.

I first mapped out the general layout of the dungeon on paper. After I was pleased with my dungeon I brought it to unity and created it using the tile system. The main problem I faced while making the dungeons was finding that perfect balance for scale. At first, I made the layout too big, then too small. It took me a couple of tries to have a layout I was happy with!

I love how fluid our team has been so far.
